02What information should I provide when calling?
Please share the patient’s current location, intended destination, general transfer requirements and any available clinical information. The coordination team will advise if further details are needed.
03Do you coordinate domestic and international transfers?
Yes. HCASB coordinates patient transfers within Malaysia and internationally, including ground transport, air medical transport, medical escorts and receiving-hospital arrangements where applicable.
04What types of ambulances are available?
The fleet includes Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, ICU or critical care, and patient transport ambulances. The appropriate vehicle depends on the patient’s assessed transfer needs.
05Can HCASB arrange a medical escort?
Medical escort options include registered nurses, doctors, paramedics, critical care nurses and flight medical teams. Availability and escort requirements are coordinated for each case.
06Can you coordinate hospital admission and receiving care?
HCASB’s listed services include hospital admission coordination, specialist referrals, ICU bed arrangements, inter-hospital transfers and receiving-hospital coordination.
